The Australian Government is inviting one organisation via a closed non-competitive process to apply for funding available under the Respectful Interfaith School Education (RISE) initiative to deliver the Click Against Hate program.

This grant opportunity contributes to the Government’s multicultural statement, Multicultural Australia—United, Strong, Successful. One of the strategic directions of the Statement is ‘continuing to build harmonious and socially cohesive communities’. The grant opportunity will run over four years from 2019-20 to 2022-23. The grant contributes to the achievement of Program 1.5 Early Learning and Schools Support within the Department of Education, Skills and Employment’s Portfolio Budget Statement.

The program will assist primary and secondary school students to develop interfaith understanding, an appreciation of diversity, and provide them with strategies to respond to incidences of intolerance online.
