The Australian Government is providing up to $36.633 million over 5 years for this grant opportunity.

The purpose of the program is to provide a free legal advice service to assist survivors of institutional child sexual abuse to access redress under the National Redress Scheme.

The expected outcomes of the grant activity are the provision of a free national legal advisory service to assist survivors through the process of accessing redress. The service will be a quality, trauma-informed legal advice service that provides survivors with advice on their legal options. It will ensure survivors are provided with access to free, trauma-informed, culturally appropriate and expert legal advice at the 4 key stages of the redress application process.
